Always, always, great food and customer service!!! Prices are decent and have never had any problems with my order!!! I highly recommend this place!

I think that this place might be the best in Sedalia. As hard to find as the Hogwarts train station, it's actually in the parking lot of a grocery. Pretty much drive-up, the pulled pork was succulent. I checked out 3 BBQ places in town. All were good but the Pit Stop is best.

Great drive through BBQ. I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad experience. If you are coming through Sedalia and need fast food, skip the chains and get a ham/brisket sandwich and some seasoned fries from bbq pit stop. You'll be happy you did.

Best authentic smoked bbq in the area. Amazing flavor with proprietary seasonings. Get a sandwich, or a few ribs for lunch, or purchase large quantities by the lb. for feeding a party. If you want quality home smoked taste without spending hours and hours on it...this is the place!

I have eaten here my whole life. Love their food - all of it from the pulled pork sandwiches to the ribs. The pork sandwiches are OVERFLOWING, even on the regular. And the chili fries are amazing! Love that they're still in business - even after a fire - kept it open!

Mediocre BBQ, but don't use a coupon...they'll give you a small rack of ribs rather than a decent sized portion like you should have received beforehand.

Payed $14 for smoked brisket and burnt ends.. got home to find it is definitely not brisket nor burnt ends but instead pot roast being sold as brisket. Absolutely no smoke flavor and tasted horrible. Definitely nothing like it used to be..

Outstanding take out orders. The quickest place to get good food to take home.

The Bbq was outstanding! The owner and his employee were very kind and full of smiles. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting authentic smoked Bbq that will have ya drooling at the mouth.. Yes it is that good!

Very rude on our first visit on Sep 28 at 1130 am. We pulled up to the window and the elderly woman with short hair and glasses kept shaking her head in irritation at us because we asked for a few mins to look at the menu. When we asked some questions about what sizes fries come in (because their menu says only in a quart and the only come in small). The lady was very rude in her tone and response to us and then started laughing at us. It seemed like that employee was very bothered that she had to serve a customer. That was our first visit and we left without ordering. We will not return.

Good food

Always stop here and get 4 to 5 sandwiches for everyone at home when I come to Sedalia. Convenient to drive up and order a sandwich.

Just found this place today! Boy have I been missing out!!! I am very picky with BBQ and this definitely met my standards!! Will not go anywhere else again! Ribs were tender and burnt ends were great! Baked beans were JUST how I like them!

I ABSOLUTELY love their BBQ pork sandwich. Their sides are good as well. And they are always friendly when they wait on you.

Holy crud, my girlfriend and I stopped by here on a bbq charged whim and were heartily rewarded. That was some dang good brisket in sweet sauce. Would definitely recommend the seasoned fries over normal as well.
